Colombia, Manuscript Town Cancels, 1859-1900. Mammoth collection put together over a period of 35 years and near completion containing some 2,200 stamps from over 300 different towns and villages in the various departments (provinces) and including 11 New Granada (1861) and incorporating part of the Albert Quast collection, all identified in an alphabetical town/village arrangement in a Lighthouse black page stockbook, some towns with a bit of duplication but cancels noted on a wide variety of issues; notes & reference material accompanies including the Mainsheet list of values out of 100 points, ordered by State, and a further 6 page alphabetical listing showing spread between National and Provincial usages these being detailed explanations of the process and methods of study, and the sources of research; further study will be a continuing challenge and most rewarding. There are also more than 30 previously unlisted place names all agreed and identified by expert the late Jim Cross. Estimate  $10,000 - 15,000. $0
