1851-1898, used regular and commemorative issues selection (Scott 11A//283), 58 used 19th century issues, identified and housed in individual black cards, with only a couple duplicates. Catalog values range from $1 to $1600. Better items include #12, 21, 29, 72, 78b, 86, 95, 120, 127, 138, 166 and 242. Condition varies widely, a few with small faults though most are sound, with centering ranging from Very Fine down to V.G. A useful lot for the collector trying to fill spaces with many affordable examples of some very scarce issues.

1869-1903, unused regular and commemorative issues selection (Scott 124//319g), 59 items on black cards, all identified with only a couple duplicates. Catalog values range from $6 up to $600. Better items include #s 124, 185, 205, 207, 219d, 223, 235 (NH!), 238, 291, plus there are a few Match & Medicine and a couple Hawaii. Nearly all are sound examples with only a couple small faults. Approximately $800 catalog value is without gum, the rest mainly o.g. with a very few NH. Centering is all over the map, averaging Fine+ or Fine to Very Fine but there are a few V.G. A useful lot for the collector trying to add affordable examples of some scarcer 19th century classics.

1902-39, regular and commemorative issues collection balance (Scott 308//851), in mounts on Schaubek hingeless album pages. Mostly mint but some scattered used. Better items include the 1922 definitive issue (#551-573) more or less complete (a couple middle values are from the later rotary issue, the $2 and $5 are never hinged and well centered), the perf 10 issue (#581-591), the 1931 rotary definitives (692-701), Presidentials complete; fairly complete from the late 1920's through 1939. A nice clean collection with some high points, o.g., some never hinged / some hinged, generally Fine to Very Fine.

1908-21, Washington-Franklin collection (Scott 331//535), about 90% complete, neatly mounted on Schaubek hingeless album pages, mostly mint but with some scattered used. Includes the first issue (331-342) complete (the $1 is used, the 50¢ o.g., Fine to Very Fine), second issue (374-382) complete, 1¢ and 2¢ Bluish Paper, most of the 405-480 series (including 50¢ #421 and 422, plus a used $1 #423), unused $1 #460, #479-480 high values are used, the perf 11 series (408-518) is complete (less the error), the three 1918-1920 high values (523, 524, 547) are o.g. and nicely centered, plus there are numerous coils and imperfs, a couple Schermacks, and a selection of the later Offset issues. Centering averages Fine to Very Fine with some Very Fine. Only a few tiny faults noted, and the couple obvious misidentifications were not counted. A nice lot for the collector or dealer. Scott catalog value is without premiums for the occasional never hinged, o.g., some never hinged / some hinged.

Special Delivery including #s E3-E19 (E3 with paper hinge remnant, E4 with small thin, others Fine to Very Fine except E8-10 are used). Parcel Post complete ($1 is used). Scattered postage dues. Officials well represented but mixed mint, used, specimens and proofs.
