1870-1894, fancy cancels on Bank Note issues, a massive and most impressive collection. Approximately 1,250 stamps, attractively presented on Scott hingeless album pages, with a very wide range of cancels including different shapes and sizes, in circles or in frame, anchors, flags, foreign mail, insects, letters, Masonic, "OK", postal markings, stars, wheels and more. Of especial note is the large group of Pumpkin head cancels, accompanied by an A.P.S. article describing them. Some minor duplication, mostly Very Fine strikes, a beautiful collection, ex-Gatsby, fully imaged on the web.

1869-1960's, hodgepodge, this treasure trove is all over the place including singles, sets, blocks, and plate blocks! It is too much to catalog but are guessing at least $2500 and we estimate there is over $200 in face value alone, there are many items that catalog $15 and up a few classics, then more modern items such as Overrun Countries in blocks of 4, famous Americans in blocks of 4, Prexies in blocks of 4, not to mention a ton of commemoratives in plate # blocks of 4; also Farley S/S and blocks! Much of this is mounted and n.h. Perfect for the collector/dealer who wants to sort and organize - lots of neat finds in this medium box! Suggested Bid $200-300 (Image)
