1700-1895 covers on dealer stock pages in a small binder, some pre-stamp including 1700 Edinburgh Bishop mark, 1829 Cape Town to Worcester with "Post Office General" crown cachet and 1835 with 'Star' Inspector's mark, stampless 1860 to Mexico and to San Francisco, a mint 1d Mulready, 3 x 1d blacks (each 3 margin) with various 1d reds including 1844 type cancel in blue and '5' in MC, a dozen or so surface printed (1855 1s etc.), 6d and 1s embossed to USA, 1d lilac with Jubilee 2d and 6d perfins on 2 1/2d stationery cover to USA (most attractive and unusual). Mixed condition and inspection recommended but plenty of interesting and useful covers.

1827-1980s, collection of mostly Leamington Spa (Warwick) interest but a few items of general GB too incl. 1841 entire endorsed "OHMS" with 1840 2d pale blue sent within Scotland (4 margins, filing fold affecting stamp), three 1840 2d blues and a pair, two four-margin 1d blacks on cover (minor soiling), some mint 1887 Jubilees, cover with a penny black and another with 1840 2d blue from Leamington Spa (3 margins), 4d sage-green pl.15 with "socked-on-the-nose" Leamington cds, ca.50 covers/cards postcards and some loose stamps, a varied lot. 1840-1911 dealer's stock in 2 counter books with an extensive range of material and whilst the condition is mixed (as is reflected in the estimate), the stock represents good value. We note 8 x 1d black and 11 x 1820 2d blue, 5 x 1s embossed plus pair with 2 x 10d and 6 x 6d. Plenty of used surface printed including SG 62-3, 87, 98 (4), 120b, 5s pl.2 (2), 151 (2) and 1883 high values (4 x 10s), with mint examples (mostly regummed with faults) including SG 66, 69/70, 80, 90, 153 (2)and 156. 1840-1939, Small batch of items in a packet with two 1d black covers (3 margin), 1d Mulready to Dublin with London "3" in MC (scarce, cat £3000, very soiled, small tear), 5/- pl 1 mint (extensive repair and perf fault, cat £9'500), KEVIII 2 1/2d and 1939 10s ultramarine overprinted Specimen (not guaranteed), 64 1d red pl.21 imperfs (+ 6 covers) and 1912 2d deep intense orange on cover with RPS etc. (Image)

1840-1970s, A mint & used collection in three well filled red Favourite Philatelic albums, scarcer stamps including though not limited to 1840 1d black (6), 1840 2d blue (3), 1858-64 set of plate numbers to 225 (less 77), a good range of fine used surface printed issues including 1867-80 2s milky blue, a mint selection of Jubilee issues to £1 and also including 5d Board of Education mint (though not certified so cannot be guaranteed as genuine), second album with GB to 1951 plus Channel islands & IOM, and third album with QEII incl. definitives, postage dues, etc., generally fine throughout with viewing essential.

1840-1990s, Extensive accumulation in large box in albums and stockbooks, on pages, etc., noted some used material including 1d black and 40 or so 1d reds with MC, a mint collection with substantial quantities of decimal commemoratives, booklet panes, sheets etc (high face value!). Also some pre-decimal issues in quantity, an attractive collection of mint Machins, 100 or so KEVII 1/2d on illustrated postcards (and a 'heads up', there is a 1912 2 1/2d blue on piece used in 'Smyrna' which has a good chance of being the Prussian blue shade).

1881-1940s, A fantastic and very comprehensive collection of mint controls contained in two albums, many hundreds with many mint n.h., including singles, blocks, vertical strips, horizontal strips, especially well represented in the "Kings" section with many different shades present though not identified; a superb lot for the enthusiast which would be difficult to replicate, clearly put together of several decades and this the first time of being on the open market; fine and rare.

1902-11 A superb KEVII used collection of the S.G. specialised catalogue shades, with values from 1/2d to £1 neatly written up on album leaves with the shades present annotated in order of the catalogue, a fine assembly with many stamps with fine cds cancels and generally displaying good fresh colour. Viewing essential.

1911-1929 a fine selection of KGV values overprinted "Specimen" or "Cancelled" with values from 1/2d to 1s including imperf. and sample watermark paper, generally fresh and fine unused; with viewing recommended.

1912-1929 A fabulous and valuable KGV mint collection of the specialised shades from the Downey Head 1/2d through to 1929 PUC £1 neatly written up and annotated as per the specialised catalogue, largely complete and all collected during the mid 70s to the mid 80s and many shades benefitting from RPS certificates of that time, condition good to very fine with many extremely fresh examples and collected for quality; generally lightly mounted mint, a wonderful study with room for expansion, viewing essential.

1912-1929 KGV used collection of shades neatly written up on leaves annotated by the owner, 1912-22 issues through to 1/- with a good range of shades and 1929 PUC set to £1; generally fine.

1913-34 A fabulous predominately mint (all with large part o.g.) collection of the specialised listed shades (identified by the owner), neatly written up on album pages, virtually all examples with good perfs and centring and displaying lovely rich fresh colour, including Waterlow with 2s6d imperf. colour trial, 2s6d deep sepia brown, 5s rose carmine, 10s indigo and £1 (used), De La Rue with a good range of shades including 2s6d deep yellow brown and blackish brown (from the lower right corner, 5s bright carmine and carmine, Bradbury Wilkinson 2s6d (5 shades), 5s carmine rose and rose red and re-engraved set to 10s also a used selection, a fine group with viewing essential and in the absence of certificates shades are not guaranteed correct. 1952-90s, QE2 collection in albums in a large box with 1952-70 mint n.h. with most of the Wildings (including many watermark varieties), 1970-92 Gutter Pairs in 3 Kabe albums, Jersey, Guernsey and IOM in 3 Lindners, an album of used, etc.

1958-90 QE2 stock in counter book with ranges of mint Wilding panes and multiples, Castle high values, two £10 Britannia blocks of four, 50p Machin partially imperf vertical strip of 3, a few booklets (noted SG M15g, cat £350, NP31a, cat £600 and "Stamps for Cooks" stapled, cat £325).

1967-2000, Specialised collection of decimal Machins beautifully written up and presented in 7 albums. Arranged by value within each of the various printings (FCP/DEX, Harrison/De La Rue, OCP/PVA etc), then by the head, paper, phosphor and cylinder types, with shades and varieties identified also. Running throughout are imperforate pairs and we note 3 1/2p 2B, 6 1/2p bright blue (2 types), 9p deep violet 2B, 10p orange brown 2b (2 types), 11 1/2p drab CB, 14p deep blue CB, 15p bright blue CB, 19p orange red, 20p bright green CB, 22p bright orange red and 22p blue, 38p rosine 2B and the 50p ochre (2 band) in vertical imperf strip of 3. Striking perf shifts also, in particular on the 2 1/2p and 3p in corner marginal blocks of 10 (the latter also seen with a large dry print), on the £1 Carrickfergus (part of a large range of these high values in gutter pairs, blocks etc) and even on the £10 issue (which is very seldom seen). With rarities and scarcer types throughout, also to be found in an album of the pre-decimal issues (equally comprehensively covered), this magnificent collection is without doubt the finest of its type we have offered. 1971-90s, Accumulation in a large box with extensive decimal Machin issues, some arranged by printing on cards and many in booklets (a large quantity of 1st and 2nd class), 30 or so Prestige booklets and other bits and pieces. Considerable face value here, so careful viewing will be rewarded!

1853-92, Small ranges from each State priced up on stocksheets in counter book, typically with a few earlier issues used then better items mint. Of these we note NSW SG 236dca and 1897 Jubilee set, South Australia SG 15 (cert), 197a and 304-5, Tasmania SG 28 in pair, 41 (no gum), 46, 166, 1892 10s, 1899 set and F29. Also Victoria with 1897 Jubilee, 1900 Boer War plus D11/20 and from Western Australia we note SG 3 (no gum) plus 1s, 85 (regummed) and 5s SG 148. (Image)

1913-2007 dealer's stock in counter book with plenty of decent material. We note mint 1913 to 1/- plus SG 5dw, SG 94-104, 109 in Ash imprint pair, 5/- SG 42c, 111 (2) and 30 (used), £2 SG 138 (used, perf fault) and 2 x 1928 m-sheet. Also Arms sets, KGVI £1 block of 4, 5s white papers, Postage Dues including D4-8, 18 and 30-1, the scarce 1930 booklet SG SB24 (cat £850); etc.

1862-1964, stamp collection on 13 album pages with 168 stamps (65% used), with some fine to very fine sets (STC S.G. 2023 £1'219).

1861-1960, Mixed postal history and stationery group, with 112 stationery items (mostly postcards but with a range of type and cancels, noted "DETAINED: LATE FEE NOT PAID" hs and KGVI card to British M.E.F. hospital), 9 aerogrammes, and two QV frankings incl. 8a to Ireland with "Deficiency_ / Fine_9d" in blue and 4a to Mauritius.

1911-35, Mostly used KGV collection on album pages, with 1911-23, 1926-23 (both upright and inv. wmk) values to 25R, Coronation Durbar cancellations on pieces, etc., mixed condition.

Postal Stationery: Group of 35 unused stationery envelopes and cards, nearly all different, some in mixed condition, a useful lot.
