c.1933 Cover to London bearing KGV 1c, 2c, 5c tied by "COCOS ISLAND" type D2 datestamps dated 20 AP 1933, this c.d.s only recorded for 1934-36, the c.d.s therefore probably incorrectly dated 1933 in error for 1934 or 1935. 1945 (Sep.) - 1946 (Jan.) Stampless O.A.S covers (7) and air letters (2) all with "RAFPOST 301" datestamps, seven of these sent by AC1 H.R Simmons to his wife all with enclosed letters (one also with a hand drawn map of Cocos), the first cover with boxed "R.A.F / CENSOR / 575", also three other covers sent by Simmons from India, the datestamps very mixed quality. (12).

1945 (July 9 / Oct 15) Stampless O.A.S Covers with Indian "F.P.O / No. 46" datestamps, one on a Parliamentary Election Official Paid envelope with oval cachet of "685 Artisan Works Coy. Royal Engineers", minor staining. (2).

1950 Covers from E.R Leigh Parkin of Cable & Wireless Ltd to his parents in England, all sent by barrel mail with circular "Cocos-Keeling / Is." cachets dated in manuscript, 10/3/50 cover with Australia 1/6 cancelled at Perth (Mar. 15), 27/4/50 cover with Ceylon 75c cancelled at Colombo (May 9) and 6/6/50 cover with Singapore 50c cancelled at Singapore (June 15), all fine, an unusual group. 1950 (Dec 5) Cover from the USA franked 25c, to "E.R Leigh Parkin, Cable & Wireless Ltd, P.O Box 146, Singapore", backstamped violet circular "ORION / Barrel" and boxed "COCOS / 5 JAN 51", the envelope with a little gum staining to the reverse, otherwise fine and scarce.

1951 Covers to Cocos Island carried on the first survey flight from Darwin to Cocos by QANTAS, one cover franked 1/- from England (Apr 9) to E.R Leigh Parkin with blue vignette "QANTAS / SURVEY FLIGHT / CATALINA / VH-EBA / DARWIN-COCOS / VIA DJAKARTA" on the reverse, the other cover franked 6d from Melbourne (May 18), both with circular "C.&W.
