"$" adjacent, addressed to New York City, reverse with additional red "3" handstamp and ms. "$" adjacent, docketed "Deposited in the Post Office of Bogota New Granada the twenty third day June 1856 by me P Wilson Commissioner"; refolded slightly, Very Fine and unusual inbound New York carrier use from Colombia.

Defective and in at left, tied by manuscript criss-cross cancel on locally addressed cover, Fine appearance, still a presentable and unique on cover example of this extremely rare variety with approximately half a dozen example known on any paper type, with 2018 P.F. certificate.
