Canada, 1930, August 13 - Dirigible R-100. Return Flight from Montreal (St. Hubret) to Bedford, England, A.C. Roessler serviced cover bearing Canada 1928, 2¢ green and Special Delivery 1922, 20¢ carmine tied by "Montreal, Canada, St. Hubert, Aug 13, 1930" cds, also bearing G.B. ½d green and 1d red tied by "B.F." handstamp, locally addressed to the airship, Bedford (8.16) machine cancel, black official cachet showing the R-100 Dirigible attached to its anchor tower, Very Fine. AAMC No. Z-462. Scott No. 150, C1  Estimate $1,000 - 1,500. For the R-100 return trip no mail was authorised, but while at Montreal, the Canadian Post Office Department applied an official cachet to souvenir covers mailed at the St. Hubert airport. $0 (Image)
