Canada, , 1889 rare registered parcel post cover endorsed "Parcel Post", with 5 cents registered letter stamp + two 3 cents Small Queen (one with corner fault) from Baie St Paul, Manitoba, FE.25.89 to Winnipeg, paying 6 cents parcel rate for 4 ounces + registration fee which was 5 cents for a parcel as opposed to 2 cents for inland letters up to late 1889.. Canada, Mostly **. Splendid collection, strong in Newfoundland with 3 d triangle imperf mint, useful 19th cent. mint, followed by 1897 Cabot complete to 60 cts with the key value, the 35 cts MNH. The 20th century, a similar pattern with early royalty complete, waterfalls complete to 24 cts, caribou to 36 cts, the long airmail set of 3 to $1, Gilbert complete to 32 cts, coronations, etc. The section from Canada from beaver to modern with extensive new issues costs. Highlights here are the Quebec complete mint all with OG with the 10 cts particularly well centered, then the admirals to 50 cts mint, through to all the commem sets incl. Parliament, mountain ranges, Champlain, chateaux, both the destroyers etc. The face value for the section bought on a new issue service will probably run to several 100s of dollars incl. all the high values, of course MNH. Canada, **. 3 albums of mint, well presented, choc-a-bloc, as bought from a new issue service, also including high face value back of the book Ducks. The years covered are 1990/2002, 2003/2009, 2010 onwards including all miniature sheets up to 2012 and hugh face value, however uncounted. A very impressive range put together over 20 years.

Canada, **/*. Mint stock of many 1000s of stamps for both defins and commems, all housed in 3 very large volumes and one regular stockbook, beginning from KGVI into the 2000s. As far as we can see, everything is chronologically ordered with a max of 20 of each, more often than not blocks/singles/6 to a dozen, many plateblocks, etc. This is a substantial loaded stock, 'turn-key' and well organised, presumably destined for a dealer. 13 more images are available at www.philea.se (Image1)
