California Illustrated Fair & Carnival Covers. Collection of 65 covers and a post card, mostly multicolored illustrations; nice array of towns represented including San Francisco with scarce 1902 "Woodmen of the World" Street Fair and Carnival and three 1899 I.O.O.F. Golden Jubilee Celebration (two similar in different colors), Oakland with 1903 Oakland Street Fair and Carnival showing large Fair view, Stockton Fair covers for 1897, 1899, 1900 & 1901, various 4th of July Celebrations including 1909 Grass Valley, 1913 Selma, 1909 Redwood City and 1896 Nevada City, and a host of others from town including Oroville, San Diego, Hayward, Sonora, Santa Rosa, San Bernardino, Healdsburg, Monterey, Santa Cruz, and much more, generally F.-V.F. with better, a wonderful and scarce group.

"Meteor" Coleman's California Line Clipper Card. Black and blue ad design on enamel card stock (164x112mm) with illustration of Full Rigged Sailing Ship under Nighttime Starry Sky showing Meteor, promoting the A 1 Extreme "Meteor" clipper ship is now rapidly loading at Pier 15 in New York, excellent condition with a few mount marks on reverse as usual, Very Fine and choice.
