Marin County Cover Collection. Approximately 260 covers and cards arranged on stockpages in three binders, mostly 1860-1930's usages including 1870's Angel Island first type postmark and second type on cover to England, Belvedere and Black Point first type postmarks, Bolinas first type on cover to Switzerland, Eastland first postmark on registered, early Fairfax manuscript, Fallon and Ignacio first types, early Marshall postmarks including 1880's wheel-of fortune duplex, 1876 Nicasio manuscript on a "Way" cover, scarce 1868 Olema first type and later including 1884 registered to Switzerland, 1884 Paperville, early Point Reyes, nice showing of San Quentin, San Rafael including early manuscript (faulty) and first handstamp tying #35, etc.; a nice collection with many scarce items.

Of approximately 700 covers arranged by William numbers, with a comprehensive array of both postmarks and commercial advertising covers with many illustrated designs; postmarks with early handstamp killers, section of duplex killer with/without numbers, special delivery markings, auxiliary, section of machine cancels including Barry, International, Leavitt, flag machines including scarce 1897 "Mission Street R.P.O.", etc., a remarkable array of advertising focusing on illustrated designs including a nice showing of allover & multicolored designs including Bull Durham Tobacco card showing Calvary in Horseback and American Wringer Co. showing early washing machine, other illustrated designs with Winchester rifles, San Francisco District Telegraph Co., S.F. Chronicle registered usage from Constantinople, Wells, Fargo & Co. allover designs, California State Mining Bureau, Women's Suffrage Headquarters and much more; inspection a must.
