1939 King George VI & Que, Elizabeth Royal Visit Commemorative Spoon, produced by the International Silver Co. to Commemorate their visit to the USA, 32.1g sterling silver. Obverse handle w/crown at T, KGVI portrait in oval, followed by QEII portrait in oval, then crossed US & Britain flags, followed by a rose plant, then thistle plant. Reverse reads "COMMEMORATING/THE/VISIT/OF THE/KING AND QUEEN/OF THE/BRITISH EMPIRE/TO THE/UNITED STATES/1939", w/rose and shamrock below. Very nice!
