1907 (Aug 13) Japanese patriotic type lettersheet which opens to reveal fold-out lanterns held by a cheering crowd, written by a railway engineer from "A-Peh-Chung, Km 127", registered to Rangoon franked 50c, tied by boxed Chinese datestamp, the front with boxed registration handstamp, two oval Indian handstamps containing a manuscript registration number and boxed "Hong Kong / D.L.O" (Proud D2). Undelivered and returned with boxed "INCONNU / UNKNOWN" and eighteen datestamps comprising (in date order) Pokow (?), Haiphong (Tonkin), Laoway (Tonkin) (?), Hong Kong, Rangoon and Rangoon D.L.O, Bombay D.L.O, Hong Kong, Haiphong (Tonkin), Singapore and Rangoon D.L.O. Minor staining, a little paper adhering to left edge where it was stuck into an album, a remarkable item with a scarce Hong Kong D.L.O handstamp. Photo on Page 84. (Image1)

1938-41 Dr Sun Yat-sen third issue $5, mint imperforate multiple consisting of six uncut sheets of fifty without gum, each with two vertical folds between stamp columns 3/4 and 7/8, from the unfinished sheets looted from the Chung Hwa Book Co. printing works in Hong Kong, unusual in such a large multiple. Mentioned as a footnote by Gibbons below S.G. 475. (6 mint sheets).

1949-80 Used collection, most postally used rather than C.T.O, including S.G. 2968 (faults), etc., very mixed condition, many with faults. (100s).

1952 (Sep 9) Large registered airmail cover from Shanghai to England bearing 1952 Gymnastics $400 set of ten in se-tenant blocks of four, reverse bearing 1950 $200 and $1,000 definitives. Minor creasing or stains to several stamps at the edges of the cover, otherwise fine, a very scarce set on cover. With R.P.S Certificate (2017). S.G. 1543/52a, £1,500 as stamps. Photo on Page 66.
