Bermuda Stampless: New York to Bermuda: 29 February 1845 BERMUDA/ SHIP LETTER S1 Type I in red light impression, on full folded letter (ink spots) from New York date lined Feb 29, 1845 bearing manuscript "pr Brig Falcon", docketed St. George arrival Mar 10th. Only about a dozen examples exist. Ex Sir Henry Tucker II lot 3, Dr. Pitts.

Contents refer to this letter being a duplicate of one sent by the Sch. Lyra and refers to a damaged Swedish vessel Neptunius that put into Bermuda, and disposition of her cargo which will be picked up by the Brig Lawrence Copeland.
