Belgian Congo 1944 WWII censored P/c to Belgium (imprinted 1F plus 2F x2, 6F adhesives) canc Leopoldville cds 3.10.44 with "Par Avion" Label (m/s "Brazzaville" below this). A red octagonal British censor h/s "Passed P94 [?] ties the label & 1 stamp. On each side of the card are applied broad diagonal roughly parallel brush strokes of transparent (watercolour?) pale grey, blue & brown - significance? From Belgian officer to is daughter.
