1914 First Setting, 3pf brown, double overprint, one diagonal, unused without gum, some toning/discoloration at lower left, otherwise fine, signed Bothe. A rarity, only 4 (!) recorded (originally a block of four, ex-Marquis de Bute collection, illustrated in Gibbs, the stamp offered here being the lower right example. 1914 20pf ultramarine, vertical strip of three, top stamp is the second (narrow) setting, others first setting (wide setting), n.h., v.f., signed Herbert Bloch, ex-Gibbs (illustrated on page 184 of his handbook). A great rarity, one of the sheets from Setting I printing of the 20pf value did not receive the overprint on its upper half. By the time this omission was discovered, the setting was already changed, so the unoverprinted section received the Setting II overprint, thus creating 10 vertical combinations through the center of one sheet, with Settings I+II se-tenants.
