1869 (Dec) printed matter folded letter sent from "Davison Davies & Co." Yokohama to St. Etienne, France, with 2c and 4c (wing margin at left) canceled "B62", printed matter 6c rate, sent "via Trieste", "GB / 1F90c" accountancy mark, French entry ("Poss. Ang. V. Suez") 4.2.70 and St. Etienne (5 Feb) arrival pmk on back, filing fold through the 4c adhesive, otherwise fine and rare Printed Matter from Japan, Webb recorded "three examples, but a few more known in France" British Post Offices in Yokohama (the earliest cover out of Yokohama through the BPA was in December of 1860.
