1852 4c black on deep blue, surface colored paper, ample to large margins all around, some minor surface discolorations as always, tied by Demerara Ju 3, 1853 cds (repeated on back) on complete FL from Palmyra (31 May) to Georgetown, showing contemporary ink-framing of the lettersheet, filing fold away from the stamp, fine and splendid example on cover, described by Robson Lowe in the auction catalogue of the "Great British Guiana" (2673/1870), extremely rare, certainly among the finest of the few known, with 2004 Eichele certificate (SG 10,£48,000) (Cat No. 7) (Image)
