1873-86 Issues with locally applied "SPECIMEN" handstamps, comprising 1873 5/- with handstamp BAR1 in black, 1875-81 Perf 14 Crown CC ½d, 1d (thinned), 1/- with BAR1 in red, 3d, 4d, 6d with BAR1 in green, 1d, 3d, 4d, 6d and 1/- with BAR2, 1882-86 3d, 4d, 6d and 1/- (2) with BAR2, minor toning and eight stamps without gum but a scarce group. 1897-1927 Specimen stamps comprising 1897 Diamond Jubilee set, 1906 Nelson Centenary set and Tercentenary 1d, 1909 1d - 1/- (missing ¼d), 1912-16 and 1916-19 sets, 1917 War Tax 1d, 1918-20 4d and 3/-, 1920-21 Victory set with both 1d watermarks, 1921-24 and 1925-35 sets, 1927 Tercentenary 1d, all fine mint, the 1912-16 ¼d - 6d all with broken "M" variety.
