Argentina, Collection, 1858-1867, mounted on quadrille pages in album; Confederation issues with a selection of issues showing various cancellations, Republic with Republic Seal issues starting with 5c black proof, selection of 1862 issues with some duplication showing shades and a range of cancel types, similar later issues with better, Rivadavia issues starting with a section of proofs with 5c types in shades and multiples, 1864-67 wmked imperf with 5c unused and a few used singles (one with inverted watermark), a 10c used (thin) with R.P.S. cert. (Sc. 9, cat $1,750), following perf'd issues with dozens of 5c issues arranged by issuances, showing a wide range of shades and cancellation types, some paper varieties identified, 10c & 15c issue in similar fashion, also a section of 5 covers (three 5c and two 10c perf'd issues); condition overall well above the norm, Scott cat in excess of $13,600 not including proof material.
