1865 cover from ADEN to Inverness, Scotland franked with India 1865 4a. green, 2a. orange and 8p. purple each cancelled by Aden numeral "124", framed "INDIA PAID" alongside, endorsed 'Camp Aden/5th Dec 1865' and 'via Marseilles', backstamped with "ADEN/DE 5/65" cds and Inverness '23 Dec.' arrival cds. The 8p. with perf faults at right (affixed beyond the edge at right) and 4a. with a little tear between perfs at left, cover with tears into back-flap by opening, but still a fine cover and a most attractive tri-colour franking.
