1896 “Lake Lefroy Goldfield Cycle Mail” 6d pink on slightly greenish paper, depicting the Western Australia swan with surrounding inscription, characteristic misaligned perforations, couple of creases and a small tear at right, however most known copies are defective, a very presentable example of this rare local Despite expanding Post Office services Lake Lefroy, near the Kalgoorlie goldfields, remained unserviced until this local post was established in late 1896.
