UNIQUE FIRST DAY COVER 1853 (Nov 1) Envelope from Hobart to Geelong, Victoria, with 1853 4d orange, pl.2 pos.5, fine even margins, tied by “64” numeral with Hobart Town G.P.O cds adjacent with reasonably clear date, loaded on S.S. “Clarence” at Launceston on Nov 5, arriving in Geelong on Nov 7 (cds on reverse), missing backflap and split down sides, soiled with some peripheral tears.
