SHIPS' endorsed "via Siberia"; set of 1924 British Empire official PPCs; 1948 £1 Silver Wedding; 1964 6d Botanical stamp bisected and accepted (pair); 1997 Benham covers with Castle high values (£1.50 & £2) and special cancellations; 1971 Postal Strike to France; etc.. Also an album of Channel Islands inc. Jersey & Guernsey Liberation FDC's one signed by Edward Gueritx Beachmaster on Sword Beach and 1948 Quebec Paquebot with 'Posted on board "Empress of Canada"' cachet. 1840-1980's MINT & USED COLLECTION: A good selection of material across the period. Main collection is housed in 3 "Philatelic Albums" in good condition with slip cases & a Windsor album. QV inc. 1d Blacks plate 5 SB cancelled with red and black MX (cut tight at top); plate 4 GK 4 margin (deformed "K"); 1840 2d blue plate 2, good 3½ margins just touches lower left corner, light MX cancellation; 1s dull green GOVT PARCELS used with BPA cert.; 5 covers with numbered MX 2, 3, 5, 7 & 10; small selection of OUS & "Compton Moore" underprints/overprints (6); 1867 fine used 2s deep blue; high values upto 10s. (c.140). Kings issues inc. some mint coil, booklet and control/cylinder pairs & blocks. QEII Wildings mint including high value plate blocks, graphite, etc. Mint special issues appear to be complete to 1981 with cylinder block of 6 and 4 to 1981.
