1954 (Dec. 21) Large registered cover from Singapore to New York, severely scorched and defective, with remnants of seven $2 stamps, enclosed within a very large (353x227mm) O.H.M.S. Post Office ambulance envelope with the London F.S. registration label affixed, New York Customs Free handstamp and arrival c.d.s (Jan. 27), both with the boxed Prestwick cachet in violet. The only ambulance envelope seen for the small mails carried from Malaya. (2).
