1953 (May 1) Cover from Singapore to G.B., soiled and edge faults, enclosed within an Indian Posts and Telegraphs Department ambulance envelope, which bears the large cachet (Calcutta spelt with a "G"), scarce. (2).

1953 (Apr. 30) Registered brown paper package franked $5.80 from Tanah Rata to England with large violet circular "Station Staff Cameron Highlands", from a Trooper Royal Lancers (probably sending tea), with large cachet (Calcutta spelt with a "G"), G.P.O. resealing tape with "FOUND OPEN AND / RESEALED IN R.L.O" handstamp. Severe faults but a remarkable franking, which includes a rare commercial use of the Pahang 1950 $5.

1953 (Apr. 30) Air Letters (2) and a cover from Pahang all with the scarcer small date cachet, comprising 50c air mail cover from Bentong marked "T" and 25c air letter, both to G.B., and a 35c air letter (front and reverse separated) to Kenya with cachet in an unusual reddish purple ink. (3).

1953 (May 1) Covers from Singapore to G.B. with the scarcer small date cachet, one cover with 70c meter, the other a Forces cover with Singapore slogan cancel, the stamp washed off. (2).

Sarawak. 1953 (Apr. 30-May 1) Covers from Kuching to G.B., a long official cover (May 13 arrival backstamp) and a registered cover franked 90c, both with the large cachet (the first with "C" spelling, second with 'G' spelling cachet applied across stamps), an unusual origin. (2).
