2d Recess Type B & 3d blue overprinted 'OS' tied by 'AIR MAIL/28SE34/BRISBANE QLD' cds to cover endorsed "By first airmail flight Melbourne to Hobart", Victorian Centenary Lyre Bird imperforate cinderella affixed alongside on face but not cancelled, Sydney 'AIR MAIL' transit and two Hobart '-1OC34' arrival b/s, Cat $800 for the 3d on cover ($450 for the 2d Type B). Superb. The endorsement was incorrect: presumably the cover was intended to be carried on the inaugural Melbourne-Launceston flight which took place on 2.10.1934; instead it appears to have been carried directly to Hobart on the regular service.
