1932 Opening Ceremonies Invitation (223x271mm) illustrated with an attractively tinted multicolour view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and another of Sydney Harbour at the base, surmounted with 'NEW SOUTH WALES' State Arms (Lion & Kangaroo) in gold, made out to "Miss M Myles", minor spotting & some aging marks but unfolded and still most presentable. Maurice Williams' example - slightly trimmed with some light toning - sold for $1380; Tillie Mitchell's very fine example sold for $797.

1935 Western & Southern Provincial Airlines (WASP) Narromine-Sydney flights airmail vignette featuring their plane over the Sydney Harbour Bridge proof sheetlet of 6 with three impressions each of the separated design & background on wove surfaced paper (Frommer 48e), a couple of very minor aging marks mostly in the right-hand margin, Cat $350+.

1935 Western & Southern Provincial Airlines (WASP) Narromine-Sydney flights airmail vignette featuring their plane over the Sydney Harbour Bridge in green & black Imperforate sheetlet of 6 (Frommer 48f) signed "Ernest Crome" in the upper margin, small thins affecting three units where hinges have been carelessly removed & a couple of tiny aging marks, the upper & lower units mounted, the central pair unmounted, Cat $750+ without the autograph. The labels were designed by EA Crome and printed by Marchant & Co, Sydney. According to Frommer only 17 Imperforate sheetlets were issued (of which only 3 were signed by Ernie Crome), the other 865 being perforated.

1935 Western & Southern Provincial Airlines (WASP) Narromine-Sydney 'Sydney Harbour Bridge' Imperforate airmail vignettes on two First Flight envelopes with the respective route printed at lower-left, the outward leg with ANZAC 2d tied by Sydney '25 MAR/1935' machine cancel on arrival also tying the label, the return leg with ANZAC 2d tied by 'NARROMINE/28MR35/NSW' cds on arrival with another strike tying the label, both signed "H Purvis" (pilot) on the face, minor aging marks at the edges, Cat $800. According to Frommer only 15 of the 500 flown covers had Imperforate labels attached (no breakdown by outward & return legs is given). (2)

1937 NSW Sesquicentary poster stamp of a bronzed Aussie beckoning tourists from above the Sydney Harbour Bridge with 'SPECIAL FARE CONCESSIONS' at the base, the right-hand unit with Dark Blue Printing Largely Omitted as a result of a stray piece of paper resulting in half the Bridge in daylight with the other half in darkness, unmounted. Superb. Ex 'Tillie Mitchell'; sold for $236.
