With "St. Louis / Missouri" precancel, affixed on manila rectangular envelope with AntiKamnia Chemical Co., St. Louis Mo. preprinted illustrated label addressed to Toppenish Wash.; large cover opening tear at left and corner nicks, Fine and rare use, with 2019 P.F. certificate (stamp lifted and replaced for identification).

Single used on 2¢ entire, tied by ink smudge, "U.S. Army Postal Service, Jan 14" wavy flag machine cancel adjacent, addressed to Washington D.C., purple A.E.F. censor handstamp, docketed as received 1918; partial flap and top edge fault, otherwise Very Fine, this was sent by a civilian clerk who were not entitled to free soldiers mail, with 1999 A.P.S. certificate.
