There has been much discussion as to the correct terminology for the stamps from this issue that were not perforated. There is general agreement that they were issued on one or more occasions that the Perf 12½ machine was out-of-action. Clearly they are "imperforate", and may be called "emergency imperfs", in preference to "provisional imperf", which implies that they were issued while the arrival of perforated stamps was anticipated. One thing they are not is "imperfoated", a grammatical travesty that has gained an unfortunate currency. "Imperforated" might pass muster if referring to a stamp that has had it's perfs removed, which one might also call "de-perforated"!
THREE PENCE: 3d mauve SG 118 (CP A3d10; Scott 33a), a couple of short perfs at the base, large-part original gum, Cat £1200 (NZ$2000; US$875). RPSofNZ Certificate (2022) refers to a vertical crease, that we cannot see.

Superb. RPSofL (1957) & RPSofNZ (2023) Certificates both state "is genuine".
