TWO PENCE: 2d blue Plate I SG 72 (CP A2e7; Scott 17var), rich shade, intermediate plate wear most evident in the lathe-work, almost imperceptible shallow central thin, unused, Cat £1000 (NZ$2000; US$3000). RPSofNZ Certificate (2022).
THREE PENCE: 3d brown-lilac SG 74 (CP A3b; Scott 18), unusually well centred, very minor imperfections, unused, Cat £4000 (NZ$7500; US$2750). Another rare stamp. Ex Lord Vestey. BPA Certificate (2007). [Absent from Joseph Hackmey's collection]
THREE PENCE: 3d brown-lilac SG 74 (CP A3b; Scott 18) deep shade, an unusually large stamp with perfs clear of the design on all sides, light cancel well clear of the Queen's portrait, Cat £600 (NZ$1000; US$550). Superb. BPA Certificate (1990).
SIX PENCE: 6d red-brown SG 77 (CP A5c3; Scott 19), tiny pinhole & paper-hinge remainder, large-part aged original gum, Cat £1800 (NZ$3500; US$1500). BPA Certificate (2007) which states "gum toned" which is inaccurate.
ONE SHILLING: 1/- green SG 79 (CP A6e3; Scott 20), well centred, light cancel largely clear of the Queen's portrait, Cat £500 (NZ$1000; US$400). A very attractive example.
