1840 1d black (KG), plate 5, very close to large margins, on entire letter addressed to Dursley, tied by crisp strike of the 'WOOTTON-UNDER-EDGE' red Maltese Cross; , the reverse with neat despatch for ‘JA 22/1841; vertical filing folds, one clipping side of adhesive. Very fine matched trio comprising of two 1d blacks (State 1 & 2) and a 1d Red-brown (State 2) all with close to huge four margins and cancelled by black MC's.
