Arms values (6) to 75k plus Peasant 5k to 35k, all on 18.10.19 cover (unaddressed) cancelled at JELGAWA, with fancy official handstamp beneath, manuscript 'For the genuinity (sic) of these stamps guarantees the postmaster of Jelgawa (Mitau)'. The handstamp has a pencil note beneath stating it to be the crest of Avalov-Bermandts Army. Two central vertical folds affect one stamp. The stamps Cat. £775 off cover. RARE.
