1878-79 Tabriz Provisional Bisect usage of 'PERSANA' formular postal card with Nasser-eddin Shah 5sh black & rose, perf 12½, BISECTED irregularly (right half), with blue crayon '2½' new value m/s surch across bisect edge, tied by 'Tabriz' cds, to France with 'Moulins-la-Marche 8 MAR 79' arrival cds that also ties the bisect. Message on back dated 16/2/1879 from Alexander Stahl who was postmaster of Azerbaijan province, & who authorized/created this provisional. Sc 29(var), SG 29(var). Persiphila 23P7a.
