Die Proof in Black (2 - both on thin card approx 5½cm x 6½cm or 6½ x 4cm) dated 5 FEB 81 'BEFORE HARDENING' or 7 FEB 81 ms. endorsed 'After Hardening' and 1892 Die Proof in Orange for the same embossing with value changed to 2a 6p (3 - all on buff paper 5-6cm x 5-6cm); dated 10 FEB. 92 with outer surround and endorsed 'Early Impression' in pencil, dated 10 MAR. 92 with printed 'BEFORE/HARDENING' at lower left and dated 14 JUL 92 endorsed '2' in pencil and presumably struck after hardening plus a Proof Impression of the QV Head only on slightly toned paper (8 x 5½cm) and endorsed 'India Head' in pencil at top.
