France, Collection, Classic Collection on a Scott Specialty page, 1849-70 (Scott #3-7, 9, 11-16, 18-20, 21-37), from serious old-time condition-conscious used collector, sound and fault-free, carefully selected items without thins, tears or bends (one exception as cited below) with nice range of cancels, from bars in grid or oval, star in dots, numerals surrounded by various, but a special focus on the difficult-to-find circular dated city handstamps, including: extraordinary #3 (the only item with a thin or fault) with "2/JANV/49" second day-of-issue double-circle date stamp (postage stamps were introduced on Januay 1, but several post offices did not receive the handstamps on time); #6 "1852" cds; #12-13 cds; #22-25 cds; #29-31 cds; the iconic #37 5f with numeral in six-pointed star cancel, appears to be sound!
