image 1973, Hartford, Vt., 5¢ Pictorial Bulk Mailing Permits, four different, printed by Imperial Albums owner John Lutz and featuring the artwork of artist Katherine Holman of Lyme, N.H.; each on an unused #10 envelope with the Imperial Albums logo; modest toning, otherwise Very Fine. These designs never got USPS approval and hence were never used. Accompanied by a background article from the January 2000 issue of Crossroads Update, a a publication for "Vermont and New Hampshire stamp collectors". (Image)
