Appealing collection with Chalons Large Star 2d x2 (one very fine with full margins) & 4d pair & strip of 4 both with virtually full margins, No Wmk 1d x2 (one an enormous stamp) & 4d, Numeral Wmk 1d & 2d both apparently unused & 1d strip of 3, 'TASMANIA' 6d x3, page of Experimental Separations including apparently unused Perf 10 1d block of 4 & Perf 12 2d, 6d dull claret SG 143 block of 4 (*/**), handy Sidefaces, Tablets mint to £1 & used to 10/- x2, DLR Pictorials mint to 6d x2, etc, condition variable but generally fine to very fine, also 'REVENUE' Overprints '5d.' on £1 & '1s.' on £1 both **, and some Postal Cards including Local Print 1d dull pink on brown card superb unused.

1900-08 philatelic covers comprising 1900 use of Registration Envelope to Victoria uprated with 9d + Pictorials 4d 5d & 6d, very fine; 1901 registered to Germnay with Pictorials 1d x10, superb!; and 1908 usage of the rare long 'REGISTERED LETTER' Envelope to Samoa with various stamps to 6d, a few faults but presentable.

Selection on leaves with a few attractive Chalons including Imperf 2d & 4d both with full margins, Pictorials including 1900 6d mint x2, two CTO sets to 10/-, etc, generally fine to very fine.

1858 'TASMANIA' 6d & 1/- plate proof blocks of 4 in black on ungummed unwatermarked paper, full margins except where tou\ched at the right of the 6d block.

1863-71 Experimental Separations Pin Perf 13½-14½ 6d grey-violet SG 116 horizontal pair with perforations at the base only and otherwise Imperforate and cut from the sheet clear of the design, vertical crease between just impinges on the left-hand unit & a little stained from the gum, just tied to a small piece by two very fine strikes of the Second Allocation BN '87' of Table Cape (renamed Wynyard on 1.1.1882), Cat £5000+. Extremely rare. Ex Gary Diffen. RPSofV Certificate (2013) states "...pin perf 13½ at base and imperf between...is genuine" then, peculiarly, "the Committee has no basis on which to comment on the three sides imperforate".
POSTAL FISCALS: 1880 Stamp Duty Platypus imperforate undenominated plate proof singles on gummed watermarked paper in the colours of the four issued stamps, margins good to huge, lightly mounted large-part o.g. Gorgeous!
