image 1915 (Sept. 4), POW cover from Matsuyama Camp to Hamburg, Germany, surprisingly clean, stampless as always, with purple "Germany" handstamp at upper right cancel by Matsuyama comb dated 4.9.15; magenta "Service des Prisonniers de Guerre", light blue Japanese POW oval and red boxed handstamps on front (no markings, other than internee's address, on reverse); sadly, the photograph originally included is not here; slight edge wear as expected, but otherwise sound, Very Fine, an uncommon cover.
