image 1860/2000: Multiple award winning collection "Butterflies" housed in 14 Albums and folders containing thousands of mainly mint stamps and entires from all over the world. The exhibition section of the collection is painstakingly described with great scientific detail and often referencing famous people associated with butterflies, their benefits and research. A section is dedicated to the subject of silk, its history and the industries attached to it. A number of the often "airmail" covers in this collection from the "Juventute" series have very unusual destinations including Argentina, Guatemala, Belgian Congo or Israel to name but a few. There is also a range of different postal forms ranging from a Telegram to a postal mandate. The cost to assemble has been very high, so the purchaser will benefit from a competently and lovingly assembled study which will yield hours of pleasure, if studied enjoying with a quiet bottle of wine.
