1902 (c.) French 'Digger from Maestri (Tasmanie)' of a group of miners in a clearing with small huts & a tiny box-truck on narrow-gauge track, unused. Rare & superb! [The Maestri Silver Mine was on the Dundas Mineral Field in the Zeehan District. The company's leases were sold in 1900 to Comet Silver Mining Co which failed in 1904]
1908 FW Niven & Co (Melbourne) 'LADIES GRAMMAR SCHOOL ALBUERA ST HOBART', soiling on the back, used under cover. [The school was founded in 1895 by Eleanor Mary Poulett-Harris and in 1903 moved to 4-6 Albuera Street. Her father had been prominent in the founding of Hobart High School and the University of Tasmania]
1908 Franco-British Exhibition Tasmanian Government Series postcard for 'AN APPLE TROPHY' some 20 feet in height comprised almost entirely of apples! with imprint of John Vail, Goverment Printer, minor blemishes, used under cover.
