MAURITIUS: 'Blue Mauritius: the Hunt for the World's Most Valuable Stamps' by Helen Morgan (2006), hardbound 300pp+ with colourful d/j, brand new. While non-philatelic, this book by a noted Melbourne historian who actually went to Mauritius, France & England to research the book, is a marvellous re-telling of the well-known, and not-so-well-known, tales about the 'POST OFFICE' stamps of Mauritius. In the process, the philatelic matter is woven into a fascinating and at times fantastic story. An exceptional effort by someone who is not a philatelist. Retail $50.
