Superior to the 'Besancon' example - rounded corner at lower-left - that sold for SFr4110. [The small piece from the adjoining stamp at L/R, evident on the certificate, has been removed]
RED OVERPRINT: 'I.S.' on Rouletted 6d bright ultramarine, rouletting at the top & base and cut from the sheet well clear of the design at left & right, a couple of faint blemishes, light & indistinct cancel. Rated RRRR. [The only date recorded by Don Pearce is 20.9.1868]
