Postmarks: Coburg 1938 oval double ring 'Post Office (date) Coburg N 13' cancel in violet. Two sl diff pmks (both rated RRRR) dated May 1937 & DEC 1938, respectively. Both near comp tying KGV 5d to small pieces. 'Post Office Essendon 17 July 1939 Victoria' double ring oval date stamp comp strike on envelope fragment (unlisted in WWW) & very scarce. 'Postmaster 14 Sep 1938 Bendigo' oval double ring date stamps in violet, comp strike on stampless PO OHMS envelope, locally addressed. Not listed in WWW with a 1930s date, later (similar) examples rated RRRR. Then 4 more 1940s 'Post Office' oval double ring pmks for Broadford, Fairfield, Morwell & Nagambie, plus 'Money Order' (Kyneton) & Parcel Post (Footscray). Violet boxed 1930s-40s pmks (6) for Boxhill, Coburg, Essendon, Northcote, Wodonga & Wangaratta, these last 12 pmks all on Registered covers. Some sl mixed condition, mostly Fine or better.
