image 1896-97 Two postal stationery cards with printings on back, i.e. card ½d. green with Railway backprint for use on railway stations for arriving/sending goods, unused, and card 1d. carmine & green with Coat of Arms, slogans and 'Greetings from the South African Battlefields', used from Pretoria to Germany (arrival c.d.s.) in 1900, good/fine.

image 1900/1901: Two postal stationery registered envelopes 4d. olive-green, one overprinted "V.R.I." and used Pretoria locally on 7th Dec. 1900, and the other env. overprinted "E.R.I." and used from Johannesburg to London on 19th July 1901, and bearing oval handstamp "PASSED PRESS CENSOR JOHANNESBURG" in black, both uprated 1d. carmine & green with same ovpt. as the resp. envelope, with respective datestamps. Both envelopes lightly stained but still good to fine.
