image 1948 Olympic Games 6d, large photographic essay on card (270x170mm) with an original photograph of the designer Stanley D. Scott at work with this same photographic essay in front of him, and the Waterlow house magazine "Wands" for Sept. 1948 with this Photo reproduced on the cover. Also a Harrison & Sons presentation card bearing the four Olympic stamps with the designer's names beneath, and an unused 6d air letter. Scott was working for Waterlow when he designed the 6d stamp in open competition, winning a 200 Guineas prize, the actual stamps being printed by Harrisons.
