Registered covers from newly-opened Post Offices with manuscript-endorsed blank R labels comprising "Alberton West" manuscript with 'RELIEF/13' cds of '19AP48' (Opening Day; renamed Queenstown East 1.12.1948), "Blackwood Park" with 'RELIEF No16' cds of '18AU48' (Opening Day; renamed Glenalta 1.11.1960), "Finsbury" with 'RELIEF No6' cds of '-3MY48' (day after Opening Day; renamed Woodville North 14.2.1966) and "West Adelaide" with 'RELIEF No3' cds of '16AU48' (Opening Day; renamed Sturt Street 15.8.1966) , also 'DEVON PARK' cachet with 'RELIEF/10' cds of '-1JY48' (Opening Day; closed 30.11.1981) and 'ADELAIDE SHOWGROUNDS' cachet with Adelaide '-6SE48' cds from its last periodic opening using a GPO cds before the Wayville Showgrounds cds were instroduced, plus largely very fine 'LOWER NORTH ADELAIDE/22NO48/S.A.' cds (rated R; ERD; TO 30.1.1924; PO circa 1949; renamed North Adelaide Melbourne Street 15.8.1966) on cover with unendorsed label.

Adelaide: unframed rubber 'PARCEL POST/7NOV1921/ADELAIDE S.A.' datestamp bold strike on Kangaroo 1/- (defective) & KGV 4d violet on damaged large-part Customs Declaration for a package to England, endorsed "1 bag". Quite different from any of the types illustrated in the Handbook.
Barossa Goldfield (1): unframed '[B]AROSSA GOLDF[IELD]/[S.A]' two very fine strikes on Rouletted 1d deep green SG 23 horizontal pair (Cat £150+). PO 1868; closed 1.7.1876. Rated R across both periods of opening.
Cannawigra: 'CANNAWIGRA/21AU31/S.A' largely very fine complete strike on KGV 2d red on piece. Rated RRRR. RO 10.9.1911; PO 1.7.1927; renamed Cannawigara circa 1941; closed 31.1.1947.
Coober Pedy: Mini display with commemorative covers & letters including signed by the postmaster & a full letter from him, 1937 registered with 'UNDERGROUND/POST OFFICE' cachet, 1972 registered with provisional R label, and some ephemera.

Cordillo Downs (2): 'CORDILLO DOWNS/1?JE31/S.A' slighty doubled but largely very fine complete strike on KGV 2d red on piece. Rated RRRR. PO 15.10.1905; closed 13.6.1931.
Edwards Creek: 'EDWARDS CREEK/31DE30/C.A.' (= Central Australia) largely very fine complete strike on KGV 2d red on piece. Rated RRRRR. Telegraph Office only: TO 1.12.1930; closed 20.1.1946. [95km S of Oodnadatta. The Handbook records only an archival strike of 8JE36; we have previously offered only one poor 1941 strike on a Turley cover. Central Australia was a separate administrative area between 1927 & 1931; the only 'CA' datestamps recorded were those issued to TOs at Edwards Creek & Rumbalara, in the far south of the Northern Territory]
Emu Bay: 'EMU BAY/23FE31/S.A' (TO period) largely very fine complete strike on KGV 2d red on piece. Rated RRRR. RO 7.1.1911; PO 1.7.1927; TO 5.1.1932; closed 30.4.1955. [Kangaroo Island; 14km NW of Kingscote]
Enfield: 'ENFIELD/OC25/05/S-A' squared circle largely very fine strike on address-side of 'Coogee from North Reserve, Sydney' postcard alongside NSW 1d Arms tied Summer Hill (NSW) cds, missent to Enfield even though clearly addressed to "Penfield", couple of very minor blemishes. Rated RRR. PO 1.9.1852; replaced by Blair Athol (2) 10.1.1968.
Erith: 'ERITH/JA8/95/S-A' squared circle very fine receiving strike on 'REGISTERED LETTER LIST' document evidencing sending of "Salary" to the Erith Postmaster with 'BALACLAVA' despatch squared circle at top, fine condition. Rated RRR. PO 3.1.1877; closed 2.2.1911.
Glenloth Battery (2): 'GLENLOTH BATTERY/10JE38/S.A.' largely very fine strike on KGV 2d red on piece. Rated R (under-rated). PO 1.8.1935; closed 29.2.1956. [Goldmining]
Greens Plains: 'GREEN'S PLAINS/-20C35/S.A' light but reasonably fine strike on KGV Silver Jubilee 2d Plate Number '3' single & Victorian Centenary 3d on Howard Johnson cover with blank large-format red R label endorsed "120/Green's/Plains" in pencil manuscript, largely very fine b/s, fine condition. Rated RRR. PO 1.11.1869; closed 30.9.1971.
Inneston: 'INNESTON/10MR31/S.A' (TO period) largely very fine complete strike on KGV 2d red on piece. Rated RRRRR. PO 1.2.1928; TO 1.1.1931; closed 7.2.1972. [The Handbook records only one undated strike plus an archival strike of 18JE36]
Kongal (2): 'KONGAL/10SE54/S.A' light but obvious strike on Red Cross 3½d on piece. Rated RRR. RO -.5.1908; PO -.1.1910; RO -.10.1910; PO 1.7.1927; closed 30.4.1963.
Miltalie (2): 'MILTALIE/12DE30/S.A' slightly smudged but complete strike on KGV 2d red on piece. Rated RRR. PO -.1.1887; RO -.10.1910; PO 1.7.1927; closed 30.9.1952. [The Handbook records strikes from 1929-30 only with no exact dates given]
