1900-02 Covers and a G.B 1d postcard all posted into civilian offices, 22 bearing G.B stamps (three of these in combination with O.F.S or Transvaal stamps), one cover with Pretoria c.d.s applied away from the G.B 2½d which is cancelled upon arrival in London and a "T" handstamp crossed out, five others with stamps disallowed or underpaid and postage due handstamps applied. Cancellations include "2" numeral of Durban and circular dumb cork cancel with Mooi River c.d.s alongside, also stampless cover endorsed "Passed censor no stamps procurable" transferred from the civil P.O to the F.P.O with 2d charge mark, cover posted at Pretoria with O.F.S stamp disallowed and charged 2d, etc. An interesting group mostly franked contrary to regulations, eleven sent within South Africa, the others to G.B, Europe or St. Helena. P.O.W Mail - Prison Ships. 1900-01 Covers (22) and fronts (2) to Boer P.O.Ws on ships in Simons Town Bay or Port Natal comprising items addressed to the Armenian (2), Bavarian (3), Catalonia (2), City of Cambridge (2), Hawarden Castle (2, one a front), Kildonan Castle, Manila (6, one a front), Mongolian (2), Orient, Pindara (2) or Roslin Castle, one cover to the Mongolian with scarce violet cachet "Missent to England / BY NATAL", a few faults, a scarce group. (24).

Australia. 1901-02 Covers to Sydney comprising G.B 1d envelope headed "From No 2166 Trooper F. Sales, Active Service S.A" with Army Post Office Standerton c.d.s; and 1902 cover headed "From 3718 Sgt. Anderson S.A Field Force" with G.B 1d lilac tied by Army Post Office Bloemfontein c.d.s, both senders in the Third New South Wales Mounted Rifles, both covers with a few edge stains. Also unused Victoria picture postcards depicting Hector MacDonald or Sir Frederick Carrington. (4).
