MINT COLLECTION: Two "SG" printed albums with the exclusively mint collection to 1991. Very sparse pre-QEII, noting 1924/25 Wembleys, but apparently complete for decimal issues. Albums are in very fine condition. Lot also includes unused SG Supplements for various 1990s years. SG "WINDSOR" PRINTED ALBUM with the exclusively mint collection (in mounts) from QV to pre-decimal QEII. Small group of 1d red 'stars' plus c.123 1d red Plates up to 220, 222 & 224, 1870 ½d rose-red group (12), then very sparse to 1887 with Jubilees incl. shades to 1/- green & carmine (2), KEVII 1902 and 1911 ranges to 1/- (3) then a range of Downey Heads incl. Aug. 1912 1d scarlet with var. "no cross on crown" in a pair with normal SG 345/a accompanied by BPA (2007) Certificate.; 1918-30 2/6d & 5/- Sea Horses, 1924/25 Wembleys, solid KGVI ranges with wmk. vars. but missing 10/- dark blue "Arms", good representation of Wildings & Castles plus all the 1960s phosphor commemorative sets. 1840-1971 MOSTLY USED COLLECTION IN WINDSOR ALBUM - inc. 1840 1d black (two margins, thinned), 1841 1d red (6) & 2d blue (2), later line-engraved inc. run of 1d plates c80% complete and 1870 ½ rose-red set pf plates missing only plate 9, 1855-80 surface-printed selection to 2/- in very mixed condition some fine, 1883 high values to 10/- ultramarine, KEVII inc. 5/- carmine mounted mint (crease, missing corner) and £1 green (heavy cancel, corner and other faults), KGV early seahorses selection to 10/- blue, useful KGV and pre-dec.
