1860s/70s GROUP OF MOSTLY 1d RED COVERS IN A BINDER - inc. 1867 env. (faults) to Liverpool with plate 94 (2) returned 'Not Known' then the addressee corrected and reposted with plate 98 (2) all stamps tied by BIGGLESWADE 4CD duplexes with code B (code unrecorded by Parmenter); 1873 env. tp Paris (damaged) franked plate 140 (3); 1874 env. with Llandudno cds alongside 1d red (corner missing) cancelled by indistinct numeral that could be rare G-rated "B47" (Parmenter LKU Aug. 1867); 1878 part 1d pink env. (front plus the flap, badly foxed) uprated with 1d plate written by AC Tait (Archbishop of Canterbury). Also covers with ½d rose-red (4), 2d blue plate 15 and 3d rose plate 19. Mixed condition.
