1841 large-part outer with scarce franking of 1d intense black SG 1 Plate 6 strip of 4 [SF-SI] - good margin at the top with fragments of two adjoining units above, close margin at left, elsehwere shaved to slightly cut-into - tied by fine Maltese Cross cancels in black, two vertical filing folds well clear of the stamps, London 'FEB/C 22 A/1841' b/s in red, SG Spec Cat £18,000 for a block of 4, and £775 for a Plate 6 single used on cover.
1845-48 unfranked entires from Ramsgate to Cape of Good Hope with various despatch markings including 'HARBOUR ST' straight-line x2 (one almost very fine) and very fine 'HARBOUR-STREET' undated circular h/s in blue, all with London 'PAID' in red, three rated "8" single rate and the other two "1/4" double rate, no arrival markings, a few with mostly minor blemishes.
